According to Judge Dale Wells, Alcohol is a not a drug, when a parent has a substance abuse problem.

Judge Dale Wells, of the Riverside Superior Court Indio family law department, believes that alcohol is not a drug. The  National Institute on Drug abuse begs to differ, http://www.drugabuse.gov/drugs-abuse/alcohol. As anyone who is familiar with any substance abuse issues will testify alcohol is indeed a highly addictive drug, just not according to Judge Dale Wells who enables substance abuse by a parent.

  1. Notwithstanding the fact that the parole report of Judge Dale Wells’ protegee confirms that the parent in this case is addicted to street drugs, the latter’s alcoholism confirmed by witnesses and even by himself (I drank even more when I was at high school) is irrelevant when it comes to the safety of two small children, evidenced by Dale Wells’ irrational and downright criminal “belief” that “his daily drinking habit does not impair him”. A judge who literally ENDORSES a parent’s substance abuse is UNFIT TO SIT ON ANY BENCH!
