Current results reveal that 17% have lost faith in the appeal court system, 17% the opinion mirrored the opinion of the attorney representing the other party; 17% opinion reflected evidence that was not presented by either party; 17% oral argument did not address any mistakes in the opinion.
The 4th District Court of Appeal consists of three divisions; one, two and three and covers cases in Southern California from San Diego, Riverside to Los Angeles. A short poll has been designed to evaluate a litigant’s experience with the appellate court. Since appeal court justices receive a salary in excess of $ 200,000 on an annual basis, taxpayers have the right to evaluate their experience with a court that is expected to serve a public.
